Software architecture advisory · Remote · Digital delivery

Inspect the load path before you build more of it.

Bytewillow Logic LLC advises growing businesses and enterprise teams on software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and technical systems design. Work is remote. Plans, audits, and specifications are delivered digitally — nothing ships.

SHEET / 01 PRACTICE A3

A drawing office for systems that already exist.

Most teams do not need another platform pitch. They need a clear reading of how their software, cloud, and integrations actually carry work — and a written plan for what to change.

Bytewillow Logic is an IT consulting firm. We review architecture and infrastructure, map data workflows, and model technical specifications. Engagements stay remote. Deliverables are reports, diagrams, and advisory sessions — not hardware, not hosted software as a product.

In the drawing

What we take on

  • Custom software architecture design and tech-stack evaluation
  • Infrastructure audit, cloud optimization, and scale planning
  • API strategy, security review, and data-workflow mapping
  • DevOps process and deployment-workflow consulting
  • Legacy diagnostic and performance-tuning reports
  • Remote advisory sessions and technical specification modeling

Off the sheet

What we do not sell

  • Staffed 24/7 operations or on-call incident command
  • Physical hardware, on-site cabling, or shipping of goods
  • Legal, audit-attestation, or regulated-compliance certificates
  • Guaranteed uptime, cost savings, or vendor certifications we do not hold
  • Access to systems without the client’s written authorization
SPAN / 02 LOAD PATH LIVE

Tap a span. See where the structure takes stress.

Software fails along a path, not at a slogan. Select a span on the drawing to see what a Bytewillow review typically inspects there — and which engagement usually follows.

SPAN 01

Client surface

Often starts with a diagnostic from $145

How people and partner systems actually enter the product: clients, admin tools, and the assumptions baked into those interfaces.

Inspected

  • Entry points and trust boundaries
  • Session and identity assumptions
  • Where UI shortcuts hide coupling

Typical stress

Features added at the edge without a matching contract behind them, so every new screen becomes a special case.

LOAD / 03 ENGAGEMENTS FROM PRICING

Four sheets. Scope confirmed before paid work.

Starting prices are approximate. A short written outline follows the first conversation. Submitting the transmittal form does not start an engagement or grant system access.

SHEET 01 · REV A

Initial IT system diagnostic or security review

From $145

A focused remote review of a current system, stack, or security posture. You leave with a written diagnostic: what we observed, likely stress points, and a recommended next drawing — not a guaranteed fix.

  • Structured intake of architecture and operating constraints
  • Remote walkthrough of the agreed surface (with your authorization)
  • Written findings and a scoped follow-on option

Does not include hands-on production changes, penetration testing as a certified audit, or 24/7 monitoring.

REV / 04 METHOD REVISION LOG

Revisions, not surprises.

Paid work starts only after scope, timing, and price are confirmed in writing. Remote access, if needed, is authorized by you for the agreed window and can be ended at any time.

  1. REV A

    Transmittal

You describe the system, the question, and the outcome you need. No passwords. No implied access.

  2. REV B

    Fit & outline

We confirm whether the request fits a diagnostic, plan, suite, or retainer, and send a short outline.

  3. REV C

    Inspection

Authorized remote sessions, document review, and architecture modeling against the agreed span.

  4. REV D

    Issue set

You receive the written report, diagrams, or specification pack, plus any recommended next sheet.

NOTE / 05 FAQ CLARIFICATIONS

Notes in the margin.

If a question is not here, send a transmittal. We will say whether it belongs on our board.

Open the transmittal →
Do you ship anything physical?

No. Consulting, architecture blueprints, and technical audit reports are conducted remotely and delivered digitally. There is no product catalog and no physical shipping.

Does a form submission grant system access?

No. Submitting the website form does not authorize remote access. Any session uses a tool you approve, for a defined window, and you may end it at any time.

Can you guarantee performance or cost savings?

No. Results depend on the current system, data quality, vendor limits, and how recommendations are implemented. We document observations and options; we do not promise a specific business outcome.

Do you implement production changes?

Advisory and specification work is the default. Hands-on implementation, if any, is scoped separately in writing. We do not operate as your 24/7 engineering team unless a retainer agreement says so.

Who is a typical client?

Growing businesses and enterprise teams that already have software or infrastructure in place and need architecture, cloud, API, security, or delivery advice — not a consumer device-support desk.

How is pricing confirmed?

The figures on this site are starting points. Final fees follow a written outline covering span, depth, and deliverables. The fractional CTO retainer is ongoing and requires a written scope.
